Where to start……..
When we first sought Steve and his team for a quote, it was an early morning visit (it was a Wednesday….. Sun was out I believe)….. I remember Steve walking into our kitchen and saying, ‘if you proceed, we are going to be in your life for 3-4 months, so this is very much an interview for you just as much as it is for us…..’ From that moment – he had us, and I’m glad he did!
From day one, Upper Level Living hit the ground running. I jokingly asked if they had eight arms (like an octopus) as the work was completed so efficiently. We were still able to live in our home for the duration (minus stairs being built), so my children greeting the builders were the highlight of their day – Upper Level Living were part of our crazy home, as promised from the ‘interview’.
The quality of the work is second to none. Albeit ‘I ain’t no builder’, I could see that the craftmanship in every detail was a priority, not to mention the project management. Steve had the external tradesmen and builders in like clockwork. If there were delays, we didn’t know about them. The work floor always presented as fully staffed, and work was continuous. Given the current climate (COVID delays etc), and after speaking with friends who are also building and their delays, Steve and his team were definitely the exception to the rule.
Communication was bloody exceptional. I don’t believe I ever had to leave Steve a message as he picked up to answer any questions – however ridiculous they may be. Angie, Office Manager was equally available. I think there were days I would be emailing no end…. Angie was always so polite and enthusiastic in her approach. Thank you so much Angie! I know you are the glue that holds all this together 😉
Rob, Aaron and Riley – don’t think you don’t go unnoticed or get away without an ego boost! I have never met a team that works so cohesively together. I could approach any one of you each day and you would walk and talk me through what was going on, and yes Aaron, I will be your apprentice……. When do I start?
I am sure you have heard this before, but you have changed our lives. I know we aren’t in yet, but I am a reactive person and wanted you to know how amazing you are……

Our dealings with both Scott & Steve were very professional whilst we felt like part of their family. They took the time to really understand and get to know us thus we able to meet our personal requirements.

Kind RegardsPJ & Wendy Root | "Our Queenslander workers cottage was beautiful but with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom way too small for our growing family. We decided to renovate in two phases. Phase 1 an extension out the back which we worked on with an Architect and Phase 2 a build in underneath. The two phase resulted in a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a large rumpus room for our children. After conversations with a lot of builders we chose Upper Level Living because Steve took the time to really understand our priorities, making suggestions on how we could achieve what we wanted to within the budget we had. He was honest enough to tell us when he thought the direction was going to cause future problems and creative enough to come up with solutions.
With Phase 2 we didn't bother with an architect and instead relied on Steve's draftsman capabilities with just as good results. Doing a renovation is tricky, time-consuming and requires more thought than I ever anticipated but I think we couldnŁt have had a smoother operation than we did with Stesco. The team were friendly, professional, tidy, easy to talk with, highly skilled and took pride in the work and the result they created for us. We walk around our house today, very happy with the outcome."

| "We had such a wonderful experience with Upper Level Living (Stesco constructions), when I first started to look around for a builder I was surprised so many builders said it couldn't be done in our budget.
When Steve came out to give me a quote he came prepared with his portfolio and was able to come up with a great plan that would work for me. I am a photographer and needed a studio built onto our home. The best solution was to create a giant 6x9 metre loft on top of our house he was able to include an office and packaging room with toilet and open vanity area. Steve did up all the plans and kept me involved in the whole project from start to finish. Steve was able to work in with all my requirements for my Photographic Studio, giving me a great work space that I absolutely love.
Thanks to the Steve and the team from Upper Level Living for doing an awesome job, I highly recommend Upper Level Living to do any extensions you might require."

The job was to remove two centre house posts and two garage doors to make way for a full width roller door. This required steel reinforcing beams across the openings to maintain structural integrity.
Right from the first, the job went like clockwork. If Steve said he'd be there he was. The materials arrived on time, the dumpster was there when needed and so was the bobcat and the Readymix truck. It was obvious during the project that Steve and his team took pride in what they were doing even though this job wouldnŁt have done much for their resume. Steve and his crew built a temporary wall to secure the place until the door people finished their part of the project and removed it without delay when that was done.
Their organizational skills, quality of their work and professionalism puts them way ahead of others."
